Needs Statement

Child abuse and exploitation in Nepal is often the result of the breakdown of families and families without adequate support. It is important for parents to learn about how to identify abuse and vulnerabilities to exploitation, as well as best practices to caring for their children. Preserving families is one of the most effective community strengthening approaches because it builds strong and stable relationships between parents and children. Children who grow up in strong families are less vulnerable to abuse and exploitation and experience greater economic and social success in life.
