Needs Statement

My name is Harry Masinga. Why I need funding is because I want to change the world in small ways, I am from a small town of Eshowe, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. I’m an open person and always had a passion for children and to help children. I am a person who always puts people before himself and their needs before his own. I appreciate people and especially children, their smiles just light up my life. In my space time I help at the soup kitchen in my church to feed the homeless, I am a sports coach at Holy Childhood school in Eshowe and I’m involved with children daily, fundraising money for the school, helping where I can.

Description

I have been offered a job in Scotland as an intern to help implement effective and sustainable solutions to community strengthening, modern slavery and child protection. In this line of work, I can pursue my goal of helping children and young men and woman that are in need of help. This is what I’ve always wanted to do, to help children, as well as helping them go back to school and find education.

I want to make a difference everywhere I go especially for the children that look up to me, I have always been a role model for children. I feel that taking this job is the best thing I could ever do for my country and the children in need. The funds raised will be for my duration in Scotland and for my school fees. The reason why I need the funds is to help stop modern slavery and change orphan care.

I want to help children such as orphans and children who have been abused, funds raised will be sent to my school’s bank account. I do advise you to pay anything that you can afford and please know that your money is not going to waste but to good use, as children all over the world need help. I want to step up and take that responsibility for that. I may not be able to save every child but I will be grateful to save those that I can. Please grant me this opportunity!

Thank you,
Harry Masinga
