The Gutabari girls’ club is run by volunteers from the community two times a week, and around 35 girls come for each meeting. The club started reaching out to families in the area to bring girls to the club. The club facilitates the Bhitri Sundarta (“Inner Beauty”), homework help, and school visits.(details below)

Mission Statement

To provide young girls with the tools and knowledge to protect themselves, supportive communities to turn to, and the realization of their potential.

Needs Statement

There is consistent drop-out of female children because of their roles at home to take care of children and working in the fields. Many girls are not completing their primary education and are at-risk of trafficking and exploitation for labor.
