Mission Statement

To help children recover from trauma they experienced from the earthquake, which destroyed many familiar spaces in their communities.

Needs Statement

After the earthquake, many children experienced trauma and were scared of going back to their own homes, and even to school. In addition, many of their school buildings, materials, and books were destroyed. This project exists to help children recover from their trauma and to rebuild hope.
