Needs Statement

There is consistent drop-out of female children because of their roles at home to take care of children and working in the fields. Many girls are not completing their primary education and are at-risk of trafficking and exploitation for labor.

Description

The Bouda girls’ club is run by volunteers from the community two times a week, and around 35 girls come for each meeting. The club started reaching out to families in the area to bring girls to the club. The club facilitates the Bhitri Sundarta (“Inner Beauty”), homework help, and school visits. Funds will be used for resources, including printing the curriculum, community awareness materials, tea, snacks, and supplies.
